“ What a lovely pub. Came yesterday for a meal with my parents. The food was lovely. It was nice to have good, honest food that had good portion size, tasty, and well cooked. The service was faultless. I've only drank here whilst walking in Hope but will definitely eat here again. Well done a d thank you. ”

“ We had a lovely two night stay. I came to revisit my roots, and get a long walk in. Our room was beautiful, full of character and charm. There were biscuits which is also a win! Luxuriously big shower which eased the aches a bit. We ate here the second night, and came away wishing we'd done both nights. The menu was very good and hearty. Breakfast was great as well - tinkering with choices was encouraged! Everybody was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and to cap it all I got some very useful advice for a forthcoming trip to Kilimanjaro! I really couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for a much needed break! ”
